Hi! I’m Patricia.

I am an Asian American content creator who focuses on gaming and custom keyboards. My dad picked my IGN back when he was helping me create an email and it’s a play on my Chinese name, Wong Yi Xin (王以欣). My nickname in Chinese is XinXin, so to match the first + last name format, he created “xinxinwong” for me. Xinxinwong is pronounced like shing shing wong, but most call me Patty or xxw.

I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BSA in Biology but somehow ended up in the tech field, doing web development. I’ve always been an avid gamer since I was little and started streaming on Twitch for fun during my last year in college. Present day, I stream World of Warcraft/variety games and keyboard builds at twitch.tv/xinxinwong. As of May 2021, I am officially a Twitch Partner!

I’m currently the GM in a WoW guild called <Pixel Frenzy> and I main balance druid. I mostly mythic raid (CE guild), but sometimes I’ll push keys. We raid Mon/Tues/Thurs 8 - 11 pm est and do heroic carries on Wednesdays.

My favorite types of games are usually rogue-likes/lites and psychological horrors. Favorite game of all time is probably Chrono Cross, but I think I have the most time in Binding of Isaac (besides WoW). I’ll play almost anything, minus first person games because I get bad motion sickness.

I joined the keyboard hobby around August of 2020 and the first keyboard I ever modded was a Womier K87 with Banana Split switches and DSA Astrolokeys keycaps. My first solder build was an EO-87 in December 2020 for my Mom’s Christmas present. Since then, I’ve built 100+ keyboards and hope to continue building more. Check out my builds here!

As for my personal life, I have a really cute dog named Ginkgo and 3 sassy cats (Kilo, Miso, Cosmo). When I’m not streaming/gaming, I spend most of my free time watching anime, reading Webtoons, trying new restaurants with Conor, taking care of my plants, and playing with my dog. I have many tattoos/piercings and my hair color is always changing.
